HomeMy WebLinkAbout13 Apprentice Utilization RequirementThis form must be submitted with the Bid Proposal Acknowledgement of Apprentice Utilization Requirement Pursuant to RCW 39.04.320, all contracts with an estimated cost in excess of two million dollars require that no less than 15 percent of the labor hours performed by workers subject to prevailing wages employed by the Contractor and/or its subcontractors be performed by apprentices enrolled in an apprenticeship training program approved or recognized by the Washington State Apprenticeship and Training Council. This Project has an estimated construction cost of more than two million dollars. For this project, the Apprentice Utilization Requirement will be 15 percent. The Contractor will be required to provide an Apprenticeship Utilization Plan within 30 days after the contract is awarded. To ensure compliance with this requirement, the Contractor’s prevailing wage documentation, including the hours of labor performed by apprentices, is required to be submitted through the Washington State Department of Labor and Industry's Prevailing Wage Intents and Affidavits portal throughout the life of the contract.
