TRANSPORT SERVICE CAG-23-044
THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as January 31, 2025, is by and between
the City of Renton (the “City”), a Washington municipal corporation, and Securetrans, Inc. Dba
secured Transport and Axiom Armored Transport(“Consultant”), an Alaska Corporation Licensed
in Washington. The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the
“Parties.” Once fully executed by the Parties, this Amendment is effective as of the last date
signed by both parties.
Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-23-044, dated
January 17, 2023, to provide necessary services for armored car services (referred to herein as
the “Agreement”);
Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to extend contract term to commence
February 1, 2025 and will be in effect through January 31, 2027 (24 months), and maximum
amount of compensation payable to consultant is increased by $60,000 from $60,000 to
$120,000, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. Axiom may adjust the fees for Services
annually based upon the West Region Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) to
include 2.5 % change from the previous year (2024).
NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-23-044 is amended as follows:
1.Time of Performance:Section 3, Time of Performance, is amended pursuant to the schedule(s)
set forth in Exhibit A-1. All Work shall be performed by no later than January 31, 2027.
2.Compensation:Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of
compensation payable to consultant is increased by $60,000 from $60,000 to $120,000, plus any
applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional compensation shall be paid based upon work
actually performed according to the rate(s)or amounts specified in Exhibit A-1 plus 2.5% increase
based on 2024 CPI-U. The Consultant agrees that any hourly or flat rate charged by it for its Work
shall remain locked at the negotiated rate(s) unless otherwise agreed to in writing or provided in
Exhibit A-1. Except as specifically provided herein, the Consultant shall be solely responsible for
payment of any taxes imposed as result of the performance and payment of this Agreement.
Axiom may adjust the fees for Services annually based upon the West Region Consumer Price
Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U).

3. All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect
and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if fully set forth
herein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have voluntarily entered into this Amendment as of the date

FUEL SURCHARGE SCHEDULE
FUEL PRICE/GAL
Note: For every additional $.05 increase in fuel price will result in an additional .25% in surcharge.
A fuel surcharge will be determined on a monthly basis according to the charts and formula below.
The formula to determine the fuel surcharge is:
Applicable fee(s) for Services requiring/involving transportation for the month x fuel surcharge
percentage as set forth in the table below = Total fuel surcharge
The fuel surcharge is based on the monthly Retail on Highway Diesel Fuel Prices West Coast (PADD 5) reported by the U.S.
Energy Information Administration (eia.doe.gov.), regardless of the fuel type used to perform services for any Customer location.
