/Figure 1: Project Vicinity Map
Project Description
The proposed project is located at 510 S 3rd Street, Renton, WA (PIDs 7841800195, 7841800205, and 5696000005). The site current consists of a gravel lot and Gateway Park. The World Cup

Background
The existing gravel lot serves as a pop-up event space, hosting public events throughout the year. According to the City’s “Policy Guidelines for Traffic Impact Analysis of New Development”
a traffic study is required at the time of land use submittal if the proposed project generates more than 20 new AM or PM peak hour project trips.
Trip Generation
The proposed World Cup Square project is expected to generate the vehicular trips during the average weekday, street traffic AM and PM peak hours. The trip generation for the project
is calculated using trip rates from the ITE Trip Generation manual, 11th Edition, for Soccer Complex (ITE LUC 488). All site trips made by all vehicles for all purposes, including event
seating, picnic area, and a playground are included in the trip generation values.
The resulting net new weekday, AM and PM peak hour trip generation estimated for the proposed project are summarized in Table 1.

a Traffic Impact Analysis (TIA) is not expected to be required.
