Architectural and Design for the Remodel of the City of Renton
Senior Activity Center HVAC, Roof, and Exterior Siding Replacement
The City of Renton invites experienced consultants to submit Statements of Qualifications
(SOQ) for a transformative project: the remodel of the City of Renton’s “Don Persson” Senior
Activity Center. Nestled at 211 Burnett Avenue North, Renton; this historic 19,242-square-foot
structure serves as a cornerstone for the Seniors of Renton.
We seek qualified consultants to collaborate on Architectural, Design, and Construction
documents, integral to defining construction and bid documents and project and construction
management for the Senior Center renovation. These documents are vital to realizing our
vision of a vibrant Senior community hub and require expertise and dedication.
This project is part of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program which
supports community development activities to build a stronger and more resilient communities.
Which improves the lives of city residents, especially for the Senior Community of Renton.
This solicitation does not obligate the city to award a contract to any respondent. At its option,
the city reserves the right to waive as informality any irregularities in the SOQs and/or to reject
any or all submittals.

Pre-SOQ Conference and Site Visit: 25th March 2025 (10AM – 12Noon) at the
Renton Senior Activity Center - 211 Burnett Ave N, Renton, WA 98057
Questions for the SOQ are due by 28th March 2025 (4PM)
Deadline to Submit your Statement of Qualifications is by 16th April 2025 (4PM)
SOQ Review and Interviews (if required): Week of 21st April 2025
Selection of Consultant: Anticipated 1st May 2025
