This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
Statements have been paraphrased and summarized.
On 03/06/2025 at approximately 1255 hours, myself, Officer R. Watson (FTO Student) and
Officer C. Catalan, were dispatched to a Hit and Run, at the intersection of S Puget DR
and Benson RD S, within the City Limits of Renton, County of King, State of Washington.
Dispatch stated that 2 hours ago, the Reporting Parties (RP) vehicle was struck at the
intersection and the other vehicle did not stop. The RP requested a call back from the police
to report the incident.
I called the RP, Anthony J. Sullivan (DOB 08-13-1978), who advised me approximately 20
minutes prior, around 1240 hours, he was traveling westbound on S Puget DR, attempting to
make a right-hand turn, northbound onto Benson RD S in his 2015, black, Nissan Quest,
WA LIC Plate# CBL0648, when another vehicle ran the red light and struck the front bumper
of his vehicle. Sullivan stated that his vehicle made contact with the other vehicle but was
unsure of the damage caused to the other vehicle. Sullivan was able to describe the vehicle
and get a license that was affixed to the other vehicle. Sullivan described the vehicle as a red
SUV with WA state license plate # BJD3349. He described it being driven by an older white
male with glasses. A check of the license plate was conducted, and it came back associated
to a 2018 red Toyota Rav4 and registered to Noa Nghiem (DOB 08-08-1947). Other officers
went to the current address Nghiem had his vehicle registered to, but no one was home. A
business card asking him to contact the Renton Police Department was left at the front door.
Sullivan said that after the collision, the red SUV appeared to be turning into Home Depot on
S Grady Way, but passed the entrance, and then appeared to be turning into the Renton
Police Department parking lot on S Grady Way, but it kept going until he lost sight of it. After
Sullivan lost sight of the vehicle, he called 911 to report the collision.
When I asked Sullivan the cash amount he thought it would be to fix the damage, he stated
that he had just had similar damage fixed and that it was around $1,000. 1 asked if he would

contacted, and Sullivan stated that he would like to press charges. Sullivan also stated that
he would be willing to fill out a statement and go to court on the matter.
