Unless otherwise noted,the following took place within the city limits of Renton, County of King,WA.
On 03/18/2025 at approximately 0654 hours, I was dispatched to a recent hit and run collision at N 3rd St
and Sunset Blvd N. Dispatch advised there were no injuries, and the suspect vehicle had fled
southbound on SB 1405.
1 contacted the victim to the southwest of the intersection at Westernco Donut, located at 251 Sunset
Blvd N.
The victim vehicle was identified as a maroon 2013 Honda Civic (WA/CGJ5682 and VIN:
19XFB2F50DE237510).The victim (registered owner)was identified and verified via WA DOL as Alicia M.
Violetti (09/07/1996).
Alicia relayed that she was stopped at a red light on NE 3rd St, in the left lane, preparing to turn onto
Sunset Blvd N and proceed southbound.While stopped, her vehicle was lightly bumped from behind.
Alicia described the suspect vehicle as a smaller red Toyota pickup truck without any license plates.
Alicia did not describe the driver, but advised the driver stepped out momentarily and asked her not to
call the police.Shortly after the brief interaction,the suspect climbed back into his truck and fled
southbound on Sunset Blvd N and then continued onto SB 1405.
There was minimal damage to Alicia's vehicle, only a minor scratch on the driver's side of the rear
bumper, but Alicia was unsure if that was already there or not.
1 took a photo of the scratch,which was uploaded to the case file.
I provided Alicia with a case number.
Nothing further.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.
