Door(s) Rear Collision 2025-00002590 Paqe 3 OF 5 Case Number 2025-00002590 Officer Narrative Narrative On 3/21/2025, at 2102, 1 responded for a Motor Vehicle Collision at the intersection of Bronson Way N and Meadow Avenue N, in the City of Renton, King County, Washington State. When I arrived, I saw two vehicles stopped in the left southbound lane of Bronson Way N.These were vehicles 2 and 3. A third vehicle, later identified as vehicle 1,was located in a nearby parking lot. I asked the drivers of the other vehicles if they could move their cars off of the roadway. Driver 2 was able to do so.As he did, I observed significant rear-end damage to his vehicle, and noted that his muffler was dragging on the ground. Driver 3 was unable to move her vehicle, and I observed heavy front-end damage, including a large puddle of fluid on the ground beneath the engine. Driver 1 stated that he was driving southbound on Bronson when an unidentified white sedan (which he observed driving south in the northbound lane of Bronson), suddenly entered his lane. He had to stop suddenly to avoid hitting this vehicle. Immediately after this, he became aware that the two vehicles behind him had become involved in a collision. Driver 2 stated that he observed a white car driving recklessly in front of driver 1.This caused vehicle 1 to suddenly stop. Driver 2 stopped his vehicle suddenly to avoid colliding with vehicle 1. Driver 3,who provided a statement via a Language Line Spanish interpreter, stated that vehicle 2 suddenly stopped in front of her and she could not avoid colliding with it. Driver 1 stated that his neck and arm were sore from his sudden stop. He declined aid. Driver 2 stated he was uninjured. Driver 3 stated that a child passenger in her vehicle was injured. Fire responded and treated the child's injuries, a bloody nose. Driver 3 later stated that the child's injuries were "fine." Gene Meyer responded and removed vehicle 3 from the roadway. Driver 3 arranged for a private tow via Gene Meyer. My involvement in this incident was captured on my body-worn camera.
