Unless otherwise noted,the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, WA.
On 03-21-2025 at approximately 1607 hours I was dispatched to Top Golf at 780 Logan AVE N for a hit and run
report to be handled by phone.
I contacted the victim/reporting party by phone.The reporting party identified himself as Vinay V.I. Mehta
(08-30-1994). Vinay relayed the following:
On 03-21-2025 at approximately 1300 hours, he parked his black 2024 Mercedez C, WA/CRG6872, in the
southwest corner of the Top Golf parking lot. On 03-21-2025 at approximately 1500 hours, he returned to his
vehicle to see it has sustained damage to the front driver side bumper and there was what was possibly white
paint transfer.Vinay advised that the damage was consistent with being struck by another vehicle.There was
no note left behind on Vinay's vehicle.
I provided Vinay with my contact information and the Renton Police case number.
I later responded to Top Golf where I contacted management and reviewed video surveillance. I observed the
footage from the time Vinay arrived in his vehicle to the time he left. I did not observe any vehicles strike
Vinay's vehicle nor did I observe anything else consistent with Vinay's vehicle being damaged.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
