HomeMy WebLinkAboutKCWTDComments-CityofRenton-LUA25-000065_PR25-000020.pdf Department of Natural Resources and Parks Wastewater Treatment Division King Street Center, KSC-NR-5505 201 South Jackson Street Seattle, WA 98104-3855 March 19, 2025 sent via email: amorganroth@rentonwa.gov KC OAP Ref No.: 2290 Alex Morganroth City of Renton 1055 South Grady Way Renton, WA 98057 Dear Alex Morganroth: The King County Wastewater Treatment Division (WTD) has received the Notice of Application and Proposed SEPA Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for the World Cup Legacy Square project (LUA25-000065, PR25-000020) that proposes the applicant, the City of Renton, is requesting an Administrative Conditional Use Permit and Environmental (SEPA) Review to establish a park and community space, also known as “World Cup Legacy Square”, at 510 S 3rd St (APNs 7841800195, 7841800205, 5696000005). A King County facility, the Eastside Interceptor is located approximately 350 feet east of the project. (See enclosed record drawing showing the location of the facility in the project vicinity). In order to protect this wastewater facility during construction, WTD requires that City of Renton submit preliminary design drawings for the project, so that WTD can assess its potential impacts.
