NARRATIVE
My car stopped working to the point where I could not accelerate or decelerate (unless I used my emergency break). I pulled
into the right lane as far as I could with my hazards turned on and used my emergency brake to stop the vehicle- I also tried
to ensure that it was on a straight away so that people could see my hazards. About 5 minutes later someone ended up
hitting my car from the rear, then fleeing the scene. It was a red car, but I could not tell the make or model. As they drove off I
tried to get their license plate, which I believe was ALY5073. As the photo shows their car was certainly damaged as well.
After that I called AAA for a tow. I also called 911 to see if they would be able to send a vehicle out to help flag my car so that
it would not cause any other accidents. The police car and the tow truck both arrived around 7:45am.
