On 03/27/2025 at 11924 hours I was dispatched to the 11000 block of SE Petrovitsky RD, in the City of Renton,
King County, Washington. I was responding to a call of a non-injury, non-blocking accident. This incident was
captured on my body worn video camera.This report is a summation of events that occurred and is not
an exact sequence of events.
At approximately 1931 hours, I arrived on scene located the two involved vehicles. Both Unit 1 and Unit 2
vehicles moved off the roadway and parked in the entrance to the Palm Court Condo complex.
I identified Unit 1 as a 2011 Toyota Tacoma (WA LIC#C57793H) being driven by the owner of the vehicle,
identified by his WA DL as Ender O Del Valle Pena (DOB 04/24/1986).
Unit 1 driver told me he was not injured. I asked Unit 1 driver what happened, he stated had been traveling
westbound on SE Petrovitsky RD before attempting a left-hand turn, into the Palm Court Condo main
entrance. Unit 1 driver stated that as he started his turn,from the center turn lane, he observed Unit 2 vehicle
in the distance,traveling westbound on SE Petrovitsky RD, but believed he had time to turn in front of him.
Once turning, and crossing the westbound lanes of travel, Unit 2 vehicle then collided with the right rear
bumper of Unit 1 vehicle.
I observed minor damage to the rear passenger side bumper of Unit 1 vehicle as a result of the collision.
Unit 1 driver provided me with his WADL, registration and proof of insurance.
I identified Unit 2 as a 2002 Volvo S604D (WA LIC#CPD2279) being driven by Unit 2 driver, identified by his
WA DL as Gilberto Prada-Pinto (DOB 01/28/1980).
As Unit 2 driver was Spanish speaking, all communication was done via language line. Unit 2 driver said that
while traveling westbound on SE Petrovitsky RD, unit 1 vehicle attempted a turn from the center turn lane,
crossing unit 2 vehicles established lanes of travel.As a result, unit 2 driver made minor contact with unit 1
vehicle.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

I observed minor damage to the front left bumper/headlight of area of unit 2 vehicle.
Unit 2 driver provided me with his WA DL, registration but was unable to provide me with current vehicle
insurance. Unit 2 driver stated he recently switch insurance companies and had yet to receive his new
insurance cards.
I took photographs of both vehicles at the scene along with the sustained vehicle damage to each unit. All
photos were later uploaded to Axon Evidence.All observed damage was consistent with the version of events
provided both Unit 1 and Unit 2 drivers.
I provided each involved unit with a business card, case number and answered their remaining questions.
I then cleared the scene.
