Unless otherwise noted,the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, WA.
On 03-30-2025 at approximately 1911 hours I was dispatched to a collision that occurred at 742 Shelton Ave
NE on 03-28-2025.The victim/reporting party,verbally identified as Samier G Mahagna (DOB 05-14-1992),
requested contact via phone.
Samier explained that on the day of the collision he was visiting friends who reside at 742 Shelton Ave NE.
Samier was on the front porch between the hours of 2045-2200 and his vehicle, a black 2024 Mazda CX90(WA
Lic/CNG9482) parked in front of the residence unoccupied. Samier stated another vehicle was parked
backed-in at driveway of 736 Shelton Ave NE, which is just east of where Samier was. Samier described this
vehicle as either white, off-white, or pale-yellow in color and possible sedan or small SUV.The vehicle drove
forward from the driveway and struck Samier's vehicle causing damage to the rear driver side bumper. Samier
described his bumper was partially detached and there was a large scrape/discoloration from the collision. I
did not see his vehicle in person, so there are no photographs to add to this case report at this time. Samier
initially was not sure if a collision had occurred, but later checked his vehicle and found the damage.The
unknown vehicle left the cul-de-sac without contacting Samier and Samier did not have a description for the
driver.
Samier did not believe 742 Shelton Ave NE had any cameras on their home and did not ask the residents if
they knew the occupants at 736 Shelton Ave NE or recognized the suspect vehicle from previous interactions.
At approximately 1945 hours, I relocated to the neighborhood to look for a possible suspect vehicle. I did not
locate a vehicle in the neighborhood matching the description.
I saw a green Kia Soul (WA Lic/CBM9643) in the driveway of 736 Shelton Ave NE. I knocked on the door and no
one answered. I later confirmed with Samier that he did not believe the suspect vehicle was green and I
informed him that I was not able to contact anyone at the home.
Please forward to the Traffic Investigations Unit for possible follow-up.
During this incident I was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video. Portions of
the incident were recorded.This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not intended to be an exact
