EF79278 CASE# 25-2865 O OF COLLI r�510NN + 03/30/25 15:28 COLL1 NARRATIVE 25-2865 This incident was captured on my body worn video camera. This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events. Statements have been paraphrased and summarized. On 03-30-2025 1 was working as a police officer in a fully marked, department issued uniform, patrolling in a marked police vehicle for the city of Renton. At approximately 1537 hours I was dispatched to a non-injury hit and run that occurred at the intersection of NE 8th St/Harrington Ave NE, City of Renton, County of King, State of Washington. I gathered from the call notes, there was a non-injury hit and run that just occurred. The other involved vehicle was a blue Subaru SUV (unknown license plate) that had front end damage with the front bumper partially missing last seen towards Renton Technical College. While en route to the call, another call came in about another hit and run that just occurred at NE 3rd/Jefferson Ave NE. The caller described the vehicle that hit her as a blue Subaru Outback (license plate#CPD5022/WA) with front end damage. The vehicle fled west bound on NE 3rd St. I conducted an area check in an attempt to locate the vehicle. 1 had another officer staged at the registered owners address, and the Subaru Outback never drove back to their DOL address. I was unsuccessful and attempted to make contact with the victim of the hit and run at NE 8th St/Harrington Ave NE. I arrived on scene and observed a white Chevrolet Trax (license plate#CRK7842/WA) had their rear bumper ripped off of the frame exposing the metal and wires from the vehicle and had a large two- inch crack on the left rear side of the bumper. I contacted Yesli A. Garcia-Bonilla (DOB 08-12-2004) who was the driver of the vehicle, and she said that she did not need any medical attention as a result from the collision. Yesli advised the following occurred: Yesli drove northbound on Harrington Ave NE and approached the intersection of NE 7th St/Harrington Ave NE. Yesli had the right of way and drove through the intersection. As Yesli drove through the intersection she observed a blue Subaru approach from her left at a high rate of speed. Yesli attempted to accelerate her vehicle to avoid being hit by the Subaru. The Subaru continued through the intersection of NE 7th St/Harrington Ave NE at a high rate of speed and collided with the rear left side of her vehicle. The Subaru then fled eastbound, and Yesli was unable to see where the Subaru went afterwards. I spoke to Victor R. Segoviano Lecourtois (DOB 02-14-2003) who was a witness and he advised the following: Victor was one vehicle behind Yesli headed northbound on Harrington Ave NE. As Yesli drove through the intersection of NE 7th St/Harrington Ave NE, he observed a blue Subaru collide with the rear of Yesli's vehicle. The collision caused the Subaru's front bumper to fall off and was left at the scene of the crash. The Subaru then fled eastbound towards the Renton Technical College. Victor said that the Subaru was familiar to him. Victor believed that the driver of the Subaru lived "up the hill" from where the collision occurred. Victor was unable to give an address of where he believed the driver of the Subaru lived at. I took photos of the damage to Yesli's vehicle, and the debris left in the middle of the road on NE 7th St/Harrington Ave NE. I uploaded all photos to evidence.com. I provided Yesli a copy of the case number to reference this incident. If the driver is identified, I have probable cause to believe they have committed the crime of Hit and Run attended (RCW 46.52.020), by being involved in a collision and failing to stop and provide his or her name, address, insurance company, insurance policy number, and vehicle license number and shall exhibit his or her vehicle driver's license to any person struck or injured. I contacted the second reporting party from the hit and run that occurred on NE 3rd St/Jefferson Ave NE by phone. She advised that she did not want to file a police report at that time. I gave her the incident number and advised to call back if she changed her mind and wanted to file a report. This concludes my involvement in this case.
