Narrative
Unless otherwise noted: the following occurred within the City of Renton, County of King, State
of Washington.This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing
of events. Statements have been paraphrased and summarized.
On 04/06/2025 at approximately 1609 hours while on duty with my assigned Field Training
Officer Girello I was flagged down in the Walmart parking lot located at 743 Rainier Ave S.The
passerby informed me that a hit and run had occurred in the parking lot just east of my location,
in front of what used to be Sonic's.
Upon my arrival I observed a gray Toyota Highlander(WALP BTC8486)with its front bumper/grill
completed ripped off. I contacted the registered owner next to the vehicle. Identified via WADL
as Filsan A Mohamed (DOB 11/02/1978 verified via WADL photo), Filsan stated that she had
been away from her vehicle from 1530 hours to 1600 hours, and that the damage occurred at
some point in between. She did not have any idea as to who struck her vehicle.
Filsan was unable to estimate the damage value to her vehicle and informed me that she would
arrange for a tow herself.
I contacted Walmart security who provided access to their video surveillance system. No
cameras in their system have a clear view of the location of the hit-and-run so I was unable to
retrieve any suspect information.
I took photos of the damage and uploaded them to the case. Filsan was provided with the case
number.There is no suspect information.
This concludes my involvement in this case.
