EF63654 CASE# 25_992 O OFF CbLL COLLOTINIEI510N 01/30/25 23:54 NARRATIVE 25-992 Unless otherwise noted, the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, WA. On 01-30-2025 at approximately 2358 hours I was dispatched a blocking accident located at SE Petrovitsky Rd and 120th Ave SE. Dispatch advised of a moving two vehicle collision located at the intersection on SE Petrovitsky Rd near 120th Ave SE. Officer Ediger advised that both vehicles were moved off the roadway into the parking lot of the Grammercy apartments in front of Building C. Upon my arrival, 1 found: There was a two-vehicle collision, both vehicles were located at the above stated location. I identified Unit#1 was parked and occupied by one male. I identified Unit#2 parked in front of Unit#1 occupied by one female. I observed that no airbags of either Unit had been deployed. Neither operator expressed signs of injury. I collected information from both drivers and completed an exchange of information for both parties. The operator of Unit#1 made the following statements: The operator of Unit#1 was identified by Washington State Driver's License as Motbaynor A. Tebeje (DOB 06-04-1958). He stated that he was traveling southbound on 120th Ave SE where he stopped and then continued onto westbound SE Petrovitsky Rd. He stated that the operator of Unit#2 was traveling westbound on SE Petrovitsky Rd in lane #2 when he entered the roadway. He stated that he was attempting to continue in lane #1 but contacted Unit#2 with his driver side front quarter panel after entering the roadway. He stated that he had a AAA tow truck enroute to remove his vehicle from the Grammercy apartments parking lot. The operator of Unit#2 made the following statements: The operator of Unit#2 was identified by Washington State Driver's License as Mei J. Singer (DOB 11-29-2003). She stated she was traveling westbound in lane #2 of SE Petrovitsky Rd when she was struck by Unit#1 on her passenger side front quarter panel and front bumper. She stated that Unit#1 overturned outside of their lane of travel and contacted her in her lane. She stated that she would like a tow called for her, Gene Meyers arrived on scene and towed her vehicle. Investigation of the collision scene found: The operator of Unit#2 was traveling westbound on SE Petrovitsky Rd approaching the intersection of 120th Ave SE. The operator of Unit#1 was coming from southbound 120th Ave SE and continuing onto SE Petrovitsky Rd to continue westbound. Unit#2 was traveling in lane #2 of the roadway, Unit #1 was attempting to travel in lane #1 of the roadway but overturned into lane #2. Unit#1 contacted his driver side front quarter panel into Unit#2 passenger side front quarter panel and front bumper. Officer conclusion: After discussion with both drivers and investigating the collision scene, Unit#1 improperly entered Unit#2's lane of travel when turning into the roadway. Unit#2 was traveling within their lane of travel at the time and location of the collision. It is plausible that due to Unit#1 entering Unit#2's lane of travel improperly, Unit#1 contacted Unit#2 in their lane of travel. Unit#1 was not attempting to enter lane #2 but did so when attempting to enter lane #1. Both parties received an information exchange and vehicles were cleared from the scene.
