On April 8, 2025, at 1720 hours, dispatch requested that I respond to a hit and run collision that occurred at
the Clarion Hotel, 3700 East Valley Rd, in the city of Renton, county of King, and state of Washington.The
reporting party, later identified as Michael A. Olvera (01/30/1979), reported that an unknown vehicle struck
his parked truck while unattended.
Upon contact, I Michael explained he was entering his truck when a customer from the Clarion Hotel
approached him and advised him of the collision.They stated that they witnessed a large motorhome reverse
into his parked vehicle.The driver of the motorhome left without leaving any contact or insurance
information.
Michael stated he works at Fortune Casino but parks his vehicle behind the Clarion Hotel to avoid walking
farther than needed. He asked if I could review video footage at the hotel to gather suspect information.
As requested, I checked the surveillance cameras at the hotel. At 1641 hours, I observed a white motorhome
reverse into Michael's truck which was parked on the eastside, behind the hotel.The motorhome carried a
front and rear license plate, but the image was too pixelated, so I was unable to read the plate. From the
image, I believe the white motorhome was over 25 feet long and was being driven by a white male wearing a
white sleeveless t-shirt. I could only see the driver's arms, not his face.
Michael requested that I provide him a case number for insurance purposes only.
I provided Micheal with my contact information and case number. I also did an area check for the motorhome,
but I was unable to locate it.
There is no additional suspect information, so this case is closed.
