The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 4/10/2025 at 1238 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision report at Valley Medical
Center located at 400 S 43rd St.
I contacted the registered owner of the victim vehicle, identified as Maya Silberstein (DOB:
11/21/2001) and she stated that she parked her vehicle to start her shift at around 0800 hours this
morning, and upon return to her vehicle at around 1234 hours, she noticed that there was
substantial damage to her drivers side door and front drivers side wheel well.
Silberstein stated that she was not present when the collision occurred, but did advise that when she
tried, she was unable to open her driver side door. Silberstein stated that her vehicle had been
parked on the 2nd floor parking garage at her place of work.
At this time, there is no suspect vehicle information.
I asked Silberstein to upload photos of the damage to evidence.com and provided her with a link to
do so.
