On 4/6/25 at 1327 hours, I was dispatched to a hit-and-run report via phone which occurred at SW Sunset Blvd
and Rainier Ave S. within the City of Renton, County of King, Washington.
The incident happened on 3/29/25 around 1830 hours, however the victim Ruben R. Garrido didn't want to
purse charges at the time. He was now calling because he wanted to purse charges.
Garrido stated he was driving his vehicle (WA-C37935N) North on Rainier Ave S in the SW Sunset Blvd
intersection when a vehicle tried to merge right into his lane in the middle of the intersection at which point
the vehicles collided on Garrido's front driver side and the other vehicles rear passenger side.The other
vehicle then left the scene.
Garriado report very minor damaged. He also stated the driver was an elderly Asian female.
Garriado provided a photo of the back of the suspect vehicle. When cross referenced with police databases it
returns as WA-AFD5538.
No further suspect information.
