Narrative
On 04/14/25 at about 0602 hrs I arrived at 1905 Raymond Ave SW for a non-injury attended hit and
run collision in the parking lot of Amazon in the City of Renton, County of King, and State of
Washington. Unit#1, who was a Flex driver contracted through Amazon was leaving the parking lot
after picking up their packages to deliver. Unit#2 was also a Flex driver who was attempting to back
into a parking spot to pick up his packages. Unit#1 backed up due to partially blocking the driveway
and backed into the front of Unit#2 at a low speed. Unit#1 damaged the front driver's side corner of
Unit#2. The driver of Unit#2 took a picture of Unit#1's rear plate. The driver of Unit#1 refused to
provide any information to the driver of Unit#2 and left the scene. The witness Luis Amador also
confirmed the events and described the driver of Unit#1 as an African black male, in his 30s, around
5'9", and wearing dark clothing.
I contacted security and reviewed the surveillance footage. I recorded the collision with my body
camera. You could not see the face of the driver of Unit#1 in detail. I provided the name of the
registered owner to the manager of Amazon, but she advised due to the Flex driver not being one of
their employees she could not provide further information. Renton Records had no contacts with the
plate or registered owner for Unit#1.
This incident was captured on my body worn video camera. This report is a summary of events that
occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events. Statements have been paraphrased and
summarized. The video was uploaded to evidence.com.
