On 4/16/2025 at 1429 hours, I was dispatched via phone to a non-injury hit and run collision at
the 245 block of Sunset Blvd NE in the City of Renton Washington, King County.
Pre-Collision
Unit 2's driver stated that he was traveling north on Sunset Blvd NE in the#2 lane, which is a
lefthand turn lane. Driver 2 was preparing to perform a lefthand turn to proceed North onto the
1-405 on ramp from Sunset Blvd NE.
Collision
Unit 1 was traveling South on Sunset Blvd NE, and in the process,the front bumper of Unit 1
contacted the rear bumper and rear passenger tire of Unit 2, causing minor damage. It should be
noted that Driver 2 stated that he was making a left-hand turn and had a yield sign,which would
mean that Unit 1 had the right of way.
Unit 2 and Unit 1 pulled into the median to exchange information, however Driver 1 did not
provide all his information to Driver 2. Unit 1 took off in an unknown direction from the scene of
the collision.
Injuries
Driver 2 had no complaints of injuries.
Vehicle Dispositions
Driver 2 was in process of getting Unit 2 towed. Notably, Unit 1 had already driven away from the
scene of the collision.
Final Disposition
Driver 2 stated that he would be able to identify the driver of Unit 1 and was able to obtain a
License plate and a definitive model for Unit 1. Driver 2 described Driver 1 as a 5'7" Hispanic
male in all black clothing. In addition, he described Unit 1 being a red two-door Acura sedan.
This incident occurred in the sCity of Renton,King County,Washington State.

Based on the description of Driver 1 that was provided by Driver 2, it closely matched the
physical description of the registered owner of the suspect vehicle from DOL.
Driver 1 did commit the crime of Hit and Run attended (RCW 46.52.020) because the driver of
any vehicle involved in an accident resulting only in damage to a vehicle which is driven or
attended by any person or damage to other property must move the vehicle as soon as possible
off the roadway or freeway main lanes, shoulders, medians, and adjacent areas to a location on
an exit ramp shoulder, the frontage road,the nearest suitable cross street, or other suitable

involved in an accident resulting in injury to or death of any person, or involving striking the body
of a deceased person, or resulting in damage to any vehicle which is driven or attended by any
person or damage to other property shall give his or her name, address, insurance company,
insurance policy number, and vehicle license number and shall exhibit his or her vehicle driver's
License to any person struck or injured or the driver or any occupant of, or any person attending,
any such vehicle collided with and shall render to any person injured in such accident
reasonable assistance, including the carrying or the making of arrangements for the carrying of
such person to a physician or hospital for medical treatment if it is apparent that such treatment
is necessary or if such carrying is requested by the injured person or on his or her behalf.
Driver 1 failed to exchange all required information to Driver 2.
