NARRATIVE
Unless otherwise noted, all events took place in the City of Renton, in the County of King, in the State
of Washington.
This incident was captured on my body worn video camera and in-car cameras. This report is a
summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
On 4/13/2025, at approximately 0357 hours I was dispatched to a report of a suspicious activity at
932 Lynwood Ave NE. Dispatch advised for the past hour there was an unoccupied running vehicle
into a fire hydrant.
At approximately 0403 hours I arrived on scene. I observed a gray 2013 Hyundai Elantra in the front
yard of the call location. There was significant damage to the front and rear bumpers and both sides
of the vehicle. There was also significant damage to ignition of the vehicle leading me to believe the
vehicle might be an unreported stolen vehicle. Behind the the vehicle I observed a fire hydrant that
was ripped out of the ground and appeared as if it had been run over by the vehicle. The Lynnwood
Ave NE and NE 10th St intersection sign had been knocked down and there was damage to a
communication box. All three items were next to each other and appeared to have been run over by
the vehicle. From the damage observed and the position of the vehicle I believe the vehicle was
traveling eastbound on NE 10th St approaching Lynnwood Ave NE. The vehicle likely loss control
swerving to the right hitting the fire hydrant, communication box, and street sign before coming to a
stop in the yard of the dispatched address.
The registered owner of the vehicle was a Sarah M. Ogle DOB 6/29/1995 out of Boise, Idaho.
I spoke to a female identified as Hilary Y. Serrano-Gonzalez DOB 11/29/2007. Hilary advised around
0300 hours she heard the collision. She also heard what appeared to be 2 male voices stating
something to the extent of"come on we have to get out of her, lets go". She didn't see or hear
anything else.
The vehicle was impounded. I took photos and uploaded them into evidence.com.
There is no other suspect information at this time. If a suspect can be identified there is probable
cause for the crime of hit and run.
