On 4/17/2025 at 1456 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run motor vehicle collision near the
intersection of NE 9th St and Sunset Blvd NE in the City of Renton, King County,Washington.
The victim in this case was identified as Danielle Dickerson (DOB: 01/29/1976) by WA DOL.
Unit 1 is a red 2023 Toyota Corolla (WA LP: CHP5999) and is a rental car registered to Dollar
Rent-A-Car.
Pre-Collision
Driver 2 stated that she was proceeding North on Sunset Blvd NE approaching the 900 block.
Driver 1 stated that she came to a stop for traffic near that intersection.
Collision
Driver 2 stated that the front bumper of Unit 1 struck the rear bumper of Unit 2. Following this,
Unit 1 fled in an unknown direction from the scene of the collision. Unit 1 is described as a black
sedan with dark tinted windows.There is no associated license plate or suspect description.
Injuries
No injuries
Vehicle Disposition
Both vehicles were operable.
Final disposition
Unit 1 did commit the crime of hit and run attended because unless otherwise provided in
subsection (7) of this section the driver of any vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury
to or death of any person, or involving striking the body of a deceased person, or resulting in
damage to any vehicle which is driven or attended by any person or damage to other property
shall give his or her name, address, insurance company, insurance policy number, and vehicle

license number and shall exhibit his or her vehicle driver's license to any person struck or
injured or the driver or any occupant of, or any person attending, any such vehicle collided with
and shall render to any person injured in such accident reasonable assistance, including the
carrying or the making of arrangements for the carrying of such person to a physician or hospital
for medical treatment if it is apparent that such treatment is necessary or if such carrying is
requested by the injured person or on his or her behalf.
Driver 1 stated that she would not be able to identify the suspect driver in this case if she saw
him. Driver 1 did not have her insurance information on hand at the time of this collision. 1 will
complete a follow up report when I receive that information.
