HomeMy WebLinkAboutAddendum - 7AMENDMENT NO. 7 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL DESIGN SERVICES - PAVILION THIS AMENDMENT, dated for reference purposes only as January 6, 2025, is by and between Graham Baba Architects The City and the Consultant are referred to collectively in this Amendment as the Amendment is effective as of the last date signed by both parties. Whereas, the City engaged the services of the Consultant under Agreement CAG-22-376, dated 12/06/2022, to provide necessary services for the Renton Pavilion-Redevelopment and Conceptual Design project Whereas, the Parties wish to amend the Agreement to provide additional design and consultation services as-needed and increase fee for the additional services. NOW THEREFORE, It is mutually agreed upon that CAG-22-376 is amended as follows: Scope of Work: Section 1, Scope of Work, is amended to add work as specified in Exhibit 7, which is attached and incorporated herein. Compensation: Section 4, Compensation, is amended so that the maximum amount of compensation payable to Consultant is increased by $8,800.00 from $1,255,029.00 to $1,263,829.00, plus any applicable state and local sales taxes. The additional compensation shall be paid based upon Work actually performed according to the rate(s) or amounts specified in Exhibit A-which is attached and incorporated herein All terms of the Agreement not explicitly modified herein shall remain in full force and effect and such terms shall apply to Work performed according to this Amendment as if fully set forth herein. This proposal takes the design through refinement and approvals, fabrication drawings, final artwork, proof and shop drawing review and review of installation on site. A.The Client authorizes Graham Baba Architects to perform the following Additional Services: o Construction documents and construction administration of the north wall graphics, based on the following assumptions:•Design is based on confirmed concepts (white text, grey tone illustrations), including placement/scale of elements as shown in the concept layout and two sets of wording.•Illustrations will be updated to match the style of those on the East/West facades. Text blocks will be adjusted as needed for final approval, concurrent with finalizing the layouts for the East/West elevations.•Design Intent Drawing Set will show all items at scale with confirmed placement, fabrication techniques and materials to be used for finalized pricing and fabricator on-boarding. Once fabricator is selected, production-ready artwork files will be created.•Construction administration review of fabrications/installation in accordance with the other graphic elements on the building. o Architectural coordination and administration of additional graphic design work o GBA 10% Markup on Consultants B.Our proposal is that services be performed on a lump sum basis in the amount of $8800.
