Narrative
Unless otherwise noted, all events took place in the City of Renton, in the County of King, in the State of
Washington.
This incident was captured on my body worn video camera and in-car cameras.This report is a summary of
events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
On 4/20/2025 at approximately 1940 hours I was dispatched to a report of a hit and run at Little Caesars
located at 203 S 2nd St to be handled by phone. Dispatched advised 10 minutes ago a hit and run occurred to
the reporting party's vehicle. Possible suspect information available.
At approximately 19411 called the reporting party identified as Dietrich C. Valdez DOB 11/1/1998. Dietrich
advised his car is a white 2021 Toyota Rav4(WA LIC#: CBE4264/VIN:JTME6RFV6MD516048) and was parked
in the lot north of Feng Cha restaurant facing the building. Dietrich advised he parked his car at approximately
1920 hours. At approximately 1934 hours he returned to his car and noticed a dent to his rear right bumper.
He took down of a car that was parked behind him but he couldn't say for sure whether the car was involved.
There was no paint transfer or any evidence to say that car was involved. Dietrich advised he asked the
businesses if they had cameras and the informed him,they did not. I took his insurance information and
provided him with a case number to provide to his insurance.
If a suspect can be identified there is probable cause for Hit and Run Unattended.
Dietrich advised he just wanted a report for insurance purposes.
