The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 4/29/2025 at 1208 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision at the Ross Dress for Less
located at 909 N Landing Way.
I called the victim, identified as Ana L. Gonzalez Sepulveda (DOB: 04/19/1982), and she stated that
about an hour prior at around 1045 hours, an older model red Chevrolet Suburban was backing into a
parking space and struck the rear driver side bumper of her vehicle with the rear drivers side bumper
of their vehicle. Gonzalez's vehicle is a 2018 Honda Odyssey (WA LP: BXU8917).
Gonzalez stated that she did not witness the collision, but it was relayed by a witness that did.
Gonzalez stated that there was no further vehicle or driver description for the suspect vehicle.
Gonzalez stated that she does not want to pursue charges at this time and that she only wanted a
report for insurance purposes.
I provided Gonzalez with the case number for this incident.
At this time there is no suspect in this case.
