THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into by and between The Seattle Police Department
(SPD), a department of the City of Seattle, hereinafter referred to as "SPD", as represented by
the Chief of Police; and City of Renton.
The original Agreement is amended as follows. All other terms and conditions of the original
Agreement, as amended, remain in effect.
SCOPE OF WORK
The Scope of Work is amended to reduce allocation of Peer Support/Wellness as well as the
number of staff attending CCAW training and add the purchase of Force Science Certification
for 6 staff. The City of Renton will continue with the planned purchase of the Zebra TC72X
Mobile Evidence Scanners, Shivworks Defensive Tactic Helmets, and American Floor gym mats
as well as the funding of a Victim Advocate.
The Scope of Work for this Agreement and the time schedule for completion of such work are
describe in a revised Exhibit A, which is attached to and made part of this amendment.
NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto have executed this Amendment to Edward Byrne
Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program FY 2023 Local Solicitation by having their
representatives affix their siQnatures below.

Renton will be purchasing two ViDoc handheld 3D Scanners ($6,596.00) to scan crime scenes
and traffic collisions quickly and accurately and American Floor Gym Mats ($2,651.00) as well
as Shivworks Defensive Tactics Helmets ($1,023.00) to allow for safe training of officers in use
of force situations to include de-escalation tactics, negotiations, hands on use of force, and
deadly force training. Staff will be sent to training and travel/training costs will include sending 3
staff to Crimes Against Women Conference ($8,295.00)) and utilizing $591 for Peer
Support/Wellness. $6,050 will be spent on a Victim Advocate. Renton will be adding Force
Science Certification for 6 staff ($9,900).
