On 05/02/2025 at approximately 1559 hours, I was dispatched to a non-injury, blocking 2-vehicle collision at
the 1800 block of East Valley Rd,within the City Limits of Renton, County of King, State of Washington.
Upon arrival, I contacted the involved parties and confirmed no injuries had occurred requiring immediate
medical response at the time of report.There, I collected the involved parties' driving documents and their
independent recollection of events leading up to the collision.
Unit 1,Alberto Saucedo Valdez (DOB 02/02/1989) driving a silver 2014 Nissan Versa (CSC9887)

Unit 2, Marcela Magana Limon (DOB 05/14/1971) driving a silver 2017 Nisssan Sentra (BPY6167/WA)

Unit 2 stated that she was in the far-left lane heading north on East Valley Rd, making a left-hand turn onto SE
180th St.As she made the turn, Unit 1 entered her lane and collided with the front passenger side of the
vehicle.
Unit 1 stated a similar version, only she said she was trying to avoid another vehicle about to hit her, so she
changed lanes and was hit by unit 2. Unit 1 had a tire mark and scratches on the driver's side rear door.
Both vehicles damage was under$1000.
When asked for unit 1 WADL and insurance, she was not able to provide the information.
I cited the driver of Unit#1 for violating RCW 46.30.020—Liability Insurance as no person may operate a
motor vehicle subject to registration under chapter 46.16A RCW in this state unless the person is insured
under a motor vehicle liability policy with liability limits of at least the amounts provided in RCW 46.29.090, is
self-insured as provided in RCW 46.29.630, is covered by a certificate of deposit in conformance with RCW
46.29.550, or is covered by a liability bond of at least the amounts provided in.
I also cited unit 1 for RCW 46.20.015

(a) Drives any motor vehicle upon a highway in this state without a valid driver's license issued to Washi rigton
residents under this chapter in his or her possession;
(b) Provides the citing officer with an expired driver's license or other valid identifying documentation u ider
RCW 46.20.035.

Based on the above statements, I determined that the Driver of Unit#1 (Alberto Saucedo Valdez) is the
proximate cause for the collision due changing lanes and colliding into unit 1
All parties were identified by their WADL and provided a business card with the case number.
This incident was captured on my body worn camera.This report is a summary of the events that occurred and
is not an exact sequencing of events. Statements have been paraphrased and summarized.
