Unless otherwise noted,the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, WA.
On 05-05-2025 at approximately 0743 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run collision at 555 Index PL NE.
The reporting party was identified via WA DOL photo as Salvador Fernandez Lopez (04-06-1966). Lopez works
for Fisher& Paykel Appliances and has a company vehicle, a white 2021 Mercedez Metris, WA/C82125Y. Lopez
parked the vehicle in the 500 block of Index PL NE, on the west side of the roadway. Sometime between
05-03-2025 at 2000 hours and 05-04-2025 at 1300 hours,the vehicle was struck by another vehicle. Lopez did
not witness the incident and there were no apparent surveillance cameras which would have captured the
incident. I observed damage to the front driver side wheel well and driver side mirror.The damage to the
wheel well appeared to be consistent with the tire(s) of another vehicle sideswiping Lopez'vehicle.
I provided Lopez with my card and the Renton Police case number.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
