Contract No: CAG-20-065 By. �"ME► Federal Aid No: N/A TIB No: N/A Date: Construction Manager: Tani Stafford 6/1/2022 The following is documentation of the oral order given by the Resident Engineer per WSDOT Std Spec 1-04.4 The Contractor is directed to do the following changed work: Remove and dispose of existing CDF on top of and around the existing water main pipe as required to confirm existing water main locations and as required for water main connections. Revise the water main connection at Sta 926+81.70 to include removal of the existing 16"x8"Tee and blocking, per plan revision 1 on sheet WA6-060122.The actual removal of the existing tee and valve will be done by City forces as part of the final connection. Note that there is a thrust block on the south side of the 16"tee near the Starbucks driveway that cannot be disturbed during the removal of the CDF until the final connection when the main line valve is shut-off at Sunset/Duvall intersection. BI B22-Water Main Conflict Resolution-new contract item to be measured and paid via force account methods. Rough Cost Estimate,WSDOT Construction Manual 1-04.4,Changes. The actual amount will be determined by force account calculations. FWD No 20 was issued on 6/1/22 directing the Contractor to perform additional work to include removal of an existing CDF backfill around the point of connection at the water main connection point at the north end of the project, and to make changes to the point of connection on the existing 16-inch diameter water main.
