All lighting shall be designed and operated per the Illuminating Engineering Society North America (IESNA) RP-43-22 Lighting Exterior Applications, IESNA LP-11-20 Environmental Considerations for Outdoor Lighting, and Renton Municipal Code 4-3-090D-2e. Lighting shall be designed to prevent glare, avoidance of light sources that shine directly onto the water disturbing adjacent aquatic and wetland life, and limits of light levels on luminaires when not in use. Exterior luminaires shall include full cut off devises where applicable such that glare or direct illumination does not extend into water bodies. All Crew Shelters shall have luminaires mounted no higher than 8’-0” above finished grade, LED, 4000K, 70+CRI and shall be aimed toward grade with full cut off shielding emitting no light above nadir. Maximum values for Backlight, Uplight, and Glare (BUG) not to exceed B1-U0-G1 for a Lighting Zone (LZ) 2. Crew Shelters R2, R3, R10, and R11 have no direct line of sight for luminaires adjacent to the waterfront and will have no impact emitting incident illumination onto the water. Crew Shelters R12 and R13 have direct line of sight for luminaires adjacent to the water front and are projected to cast 0.1 footcandles of incident illumination onto the water front as far as 30ft from the crew shelters.
