THE FOLLOWING IS A LISTING OF GENERAL NOTES THAT SHALL BE INCORPORATED IN THE EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL (ESC) PLAN SET. ALL THE NOTES ON THE
LIST MAY NOT PERTAIN TO EVERY PROJECT_ THE APPLICANT CR OWNER, HERBY REFERRED TO AS APPLICANT, MAY STRIKE OUT IRRELEVANT NOTES IF NOT
APPLICABLE TO THE PROJECT. HOWEVER, THE APPLICANT SHALL NOT RENUMBER NUR EDIT THE REMAINING NOTES. IF ADDITIONAL NOTES ARE NEEDED FOR SPECIFIC
ASPECTS, THEY SHALL BE ADDED AFTER THE ESC STANDARD PLAN NOTES.

PROGRESSES AND UNEXPECTED OR SEASONAL CONDITIONS DICTATE, THE APPLICANT SHALL ANTICIPATE THAT MORE ESC BMPS WILL ISE NECESSARY TO ENSURE
COMPLETE SILTATION CONTROL ON THE PROPOSED SITE. DURING THE COURSE OF CONSTRUCTION, IT SHALL BE THE OBLIGATION AND RESPONSIBILITY OF THE

CLEANED PRIOR TO PAVING, THE GLEANING OPERATION SHALL NOT FLUSH SEDIMENT -LADEN WATER I1470 THE DOWNSTREAM SYSTEM,
18. ANY PERMANENT STORMWATER FACILITY LOCATION USED AS A TEMPORARY SETTLING BASIN SHALL BE MODIFIED WITH THE NECESSARY ESC BMPS AND SHALL
PROVIDE ADEQUATE STORAGE CAPACITY. IF THE TEMPORARY FACILITY IS TO ULTIMATELY FUNCTION AS AN INFILTRATION SYSTEM IN ITS PERMANENT STATE, THE

WET SEASON PROVISIONS
NOTE: THE PROJECT EARTHWORK IS LIMITED TO SEASONALLY DRIER PERIODS (TYPICALLY APRIL 1 TO
OCTOBER 31) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE GEOTECHNICAL RECOMMENDATION MADE BY ASSOCIATED
EARTH SCIENCES, INC, (DATED JANUARY 18, 2017).
NOTE: THE FOLLOWING MEASURES ARE REQUIRED FOR CONSTRUCTION DURING THE WET SEASON
(OCTOBER 1 - APRIL 30) IN ADDITION TO THE STANDARD TESC MEASURES.
1. THE ALLOWED TIME THAT A DISTURBED AREA MAY REMAIN UNWORKED WITHOUT COVER MEASURES
IS REDUCED TO TWO CONSECUTIVE WORKING DAYS, RATHER THAN SEVEN (SECTION D.3.2).
2. STOCKPILES AND STEEP CUT AND FILL SLOPES ARE TO BE PROTECTED IF UNWORKED FOR MORE

THE ESC STANDARDS. THESE PROVISIONS INCLUDE PHASING THE PROJECT WHENEVER POSSIBLE
SO THAT CONSTRUCTION IN THESE AREAS IS LIMITED TO THE DRY SEASON.
2. DURING CONSTRUCTION, ESC PLANS SHALL BE REVISED AS NECESSARY BY THE ESC SUPERVISOR
OR AS DIRECTED BY THE CITY TO ADDRESS CHANGING SITE CONDITIONS, UNEXPECTED STORM
EVENTS, OR NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE ESC PERFORMANCE CRITERIA IN SECTION D.4.1 (P.
D-69). IF NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE ESC PERFORMANCE CRITERIA OCCURS, THE PLAN MUST
