Subject: Development Fees
Dear Ms. Kc!der:
Thank you for your recent payment of the building permit fees for the Fry's Electronics
project.
In response to your most recent correspondence, dated August 23, 2002, the City of
Renton is not able to confirm that the building permit fees already paid and the
S5.582.51 in remaining fees are all of the outstanding applicable fees that Fry's will be
responsible for with this development project.
In fact, it is very likely that additional permit, inspection and review fees will arise as
exterior and interior improvements to the site and the structure near completion (i.e.,
mechanical, electrical, and/or sign permits, among others). With the exception of the
proposed waiver of $295,171.07 in fees previously agreed to (see attached letter dated
August 13, 2002), the City cannot confirm that the payment of additional fees will not be
necessary.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at (425) 430-7270.
Sincerely,
Lesley Nish a
