Scott,
After running your draft letter by other staff members (specifically Sue Carlson), I've compiled the following
items that should be included in the letter:
1) Address the letter to Susan Carlson, EDNSP Administrator (same address).
2) Rather than stating 'waive all permitting fees... with the exception of the building permit fee,' list the
actual fee type (i.e., f;re mitigation fee. traffic mitigation fee, water system development charge, waste
water system development charge) and the dollar amount requested to be waived.
3) Provide the square footage of the building, im-luding the totai gross area of the structure, as well as the
amount of area to be dedicated to retail sales.
4) Please also provide information regarding the estimated dollar amount in sales anticipated from year 1,
as well as from year 5.
5) Indicate the estimated timing for the construction of the project.
6) Please also state if the property is to be shor ,,,atteti/SUbdivk1ed in the future and. -f so. what the
approximate number of lots would be and each of their respective sizes (i.e., the Fryy s sae Alan is
proposed or. 12.66-acres of the 21-acre site, so that would constitute one of tt,e likely its. Tr s will help
to justify why the fees should be reduce Waived in order to better reflect the actual portion of r,'te property
Fry's will use).
