HomeMy WebLinkAbout27FRY'S FEE COMPARISON 6122/01 TRANSPORTATION MITIGATION IMPACT FEES Renton's initial calculation for Transportation Mitigation fees was $101,379.75, or $0.67 per square foot of gross floor area (sf/GFA), based on 1993 zoning news `big box" retailer rate of 35.76 trips per 1,000 gsf with an assumption of 25% primary trips (not ITE manual). t The fee was recalculated based partially on the "big box" retailer rate used above for the retail portions of the facility (115,200 sf) and the ITE Trip Generation Manual for the warehouse portion of the building (36,000 sf x 4.96 trips per 1,000 sf). This calculation resulted in a revised Transportation Mitigation Fee of $90,633.75, which is equivalent to $0.60 per sf/GFA. The reduced fee is an average of $1.44 LESS than the typical fee assessed by the surveyed jurisdictions listed below (fee schedules attached).
