TRANSPORTATION MITIGATION IMPACT FEES
Renton's initial calculation for Transportation Mitigation fees was $101,379.75, or $0.67
per square foot of gross floor area (sf/GFA), based on 1993 zoning news "big box"
retailer rate of 35.76 trips per 1,000 gsf with an assumpton of 25% primary trips (not ITE
manual).
The fee was recalculated based partially on the "big box" retailer rate used above for the
