DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: The applicant is requesting Environmental (SEPA) Review for the
construction of a 151,200 square foot single story. single tenant retail building for use as a Fys
Electronics store. The site is located within the Heavy Industrial (IH) zoning designation and is currently
developed as an asphalt parking lot (formerly Boeing Lot 6). The property is bordered by the Burlington
Northern and Santa Fe Raiiioad right-cf-way to the east, Garden Avenue North to the west, and North 8
Street to the south.

'he City of Renton Environmental Review Committee has determined that it does not have a probable
significant adverse impact on the environment. An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is not required
under RCW 4321C.030(2)(c). Conditions were imposed as mitigation measures by the Environmental
Review Committee under their authority of Section 4-6-6 Renton Municipal Code. These conditions are
necessary to mitigate environmental impacts identified during the environmental review process.
Appeals of the environmental determination must be filed in writing on or before 5:00 PM May 25,
2001. Appeals must be filed in wnting together with the required S75.00 appiicatioo fee with: Hearing
Examiner, City of Renton, 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98055. Appeals to the Examiner are
governed by City of Renton Mu nicipal Code Section 4-8-110.B. Additional information regardng the
appeal process may be obtained from the Renton City Clerk's Office, (425) 430-6510.
