1.2 PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Based on our understanding of the "typical" Fry's Electronics Superstore, we understand '*^e
proposed main building will likely be about 155,000 square feet (SF) in size and nearly square.
Concrete masonry units (CMU) are currently favored for construction of the approximately 32-
"+ foot high exterior building walls. A concrete slab -on -grade floor will be used. We assume the
^� building will not have a basement but may have a truck loading dock wel! that should be about 4
to 5 feet lower than new parking le trades. Asphaltic concrete and Portland cement concrete
parking lots and access roadways will be constructed. The building loads are not known at this
time. However, we have assumed that the column loads will be on the order of 150 kips or more
