A total of 20 borings were drilled to a maximum depth of 76.5 feet below the existing site grade at the approximate locations indicated on the attached Site Plan, Figure 2. The struck -mounted, Mobile B-61 hollow -stem borings were drilled using a combination of auger drill and a truck -mounted, Mobile B-61 mud rotary drill. Soil samples were collected using and Standard Split Spoon (SPT) Sampler in accordance with ASTM D1586. Their locations are indicated on the initial boring logs by the symbol for an "undisturbed sample" which is shown in the sample designation box on the boring logs. i lass en neers tape. The boring locations were measured in the field by taping ♦vttll a fiberglass -. ar vei to measure elevations relative to a chosen Boring elevations were determined using an autole reference elevation at a fixed location- The location of boring B-7 was chosen as the fixed „d elevation point, with an arbitrarily reference elevation of I00'- Elevations for each Ian, and were calculated relative to 100'. The of the other boring locations are noted on the Site P locations and elevations should only be considered accurate to the degree implied by e surveying methods used. ..a ific boring locations, The borings were monitored by our field professional, who laid out spec examined and classified the materials encountered, obtained representative soil samples and s strati h soil engineering recorded pertinent information including soil sample depths, graP y, ..a characteristics, and groundwater occurrence. 1 Groundwater levels, where recorded, are those existing both at the time drilling was completed, '+ and at later dates (see table in Section 2.4, Groundwater). Representative soil samples were cordance w-ith the Unified Soil Classification System, which is obtained and were classified in ac presented, with a key to the Boring Logs, on Figure A-1. --3 for further All samples were sealed to limit moisture loss, labeled, and returned to ollr laboratory - ect the results of laboratory examination and testing.
