On 05/21/2024 at 2131 hours I was responded to The Becket apartments#NN, located at 17331 122nd Lane
SE, in the City of Renton, King County, Washington. I was responding to the call of a recent non-injury hit and
run accident.This incident was captured on my body worn video camera.This report is a summation of
events that occurred and is not an exact sequence of events.
At approximately 2131 hours I arrived and contacted the registered owner of the vehicle, identified via her WA
DOL photo as Nimco M Sharif-Hassan (DOB 02/24/2003). Sharif-Hassan was contacting police to report a hit
and run collision involving her vehicle, a black 2024 Honda HR-V(WA LIC#CLD9341).
Once on scene, it became known that Sharif-Hassan's vehicle had recently been struck by a vehicle (a red 2016
Hyundai Elantra CA LIC#8XXN677),that was stolen out of the same complex. During the auto theft
(documented under RPD case#25-4475),the suspect driving the vehicle backed into Sharif-Hassan vehicle,
which was parked, unoccupied, in front of the '00' building. As a result, Sharif-Hassan's vehicle sustained
minor damage to the front bumper/hood.
I took pictures of the exterior damage and later uploaded them to Axon Evidence.
I provided Sharif-Hassan with a business card and case number.
