This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
Statements have been paraphrased and summarized
On 05/21/2025 at approximately 1653 hours, myself, Officer R. Watson, was dispatched to a
citizen assist, at the Renton Police Station, 1055 S Grady Way, within the City Limits of
Renton, County of King, State of Washington.
arrived at the station and a male, Anacleto Gudiel (DOB 07/13/1953), identified by WADOL
photo, stated that his vehicle was struck by another vehicle when he was driving. The other
driver did not stop.
Unit #1 driven by an unknown driver was heading south bound on Benson RD S when he
struck unit#2 at the intersection of SE 172nd ST. The vehicle was described as a white
sedan, unknown make or model. The driver drove away from the scene east bound on SE
172nd ST and failed to stop and exchange information.
Unit #2, driven by Anacleto, a Gray 2022 Nissan Frontier WA plate # D07364F, was traveling
north bound on Benson RD S when he was struck by unit#1 at the intersection of SE 172nd
ST after it had crossed the center line. He pulled to the side of the road and observed unit#1
drive away from the scene east bound on SE 172nd ST. Anacleto had no apparent injuries
from the collision and there was minor damage to the front left panel of unit #2. Anacleto
provided me with the documentation for his vehicle. I took pictures of the damage to the
Nissan and uploaded them to evidence.com.
Anacleto was unable to provide a description of the driver for unit #1 or a make or model of
unit#1. If a suspect is later identified there is probable cause for failing to provide information
after striking an occupied vehicle due to the vehicle being involved in a collision and failing to
stop to exchange information.
