On 5/21/2025 1 was working as a uniformed patrol officer and driving a marked patrol vehicle for the City
of Renton. I was dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle blocking collision in the 200 block of S 2nd St
Renton/King/WA.An involved party was calling to report the collision blocking west on S 2nd St.
I arrived on scene and located both parties, I confirmed there was no injuries and was able to get both
vehicles out of the roadway.
I spoke with the driver of Unit 1, a gray 2009 Nissan Altima WA/CNC2921, she was identified by her WADL
as Rhashari C Stevens DOB: 3/25/1975.She retuned clear and valid out of Renton. Rhashari said that she
was in the#4 lane and went to change lanes to the#3 lane when she struck Unit 2.There was damage to
her front driver side quarter panel, driver door, and rear driver door. Her vehicle was drivable. Rhashari
advised she did not have any insurance on the vehicle.
I then spoke with the driver of Unit 2, a gray 2021 Nissan Attima WA/CFF0945, identified as Laura Cruz
Luna DOB: 3/24/1986.She returned as clear and valid. She advised that she was driving west in the#3
Lane when Unit 1 changed lanes striking her in the front passenger side quarter panel. Laura had her
one-year-old son in a rear-facing care seat, and he was not injured.The Nissan was drivable.
I completed Sector citation#5A0109130 for RCW 46.30.020 Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Valid
Insurance and advised Rhashari that a copy would be mailed to her.
