Via:.�'i{;cy:�'a'• 3. i Report Created On 10/15/2024 11:20 AM Page 5 of 6 RENTON POLICE DEPARTMENT SUMMARY INCIDENT REPORT REPORT NUMBER: 202400010743 NARRATIVE On October 4, 2024, my mother returned home from work and, while backing into our driveway, noticed damage to my vehicle, parked in front of our home. Upon closer inspection, significant damage was observed on the driver's side of the car. The right mirror's shell had completely detached, the metal part of the tire was visibly scratched, and the right side of the bumper was dislodged, with cuts extending along the side.There were no notes or notifications left by the individual responsible for the damage, and no one informed us about the accident. We promptly reached out to our neighbors to inquire if they had witnessed the incident. Several neighbors indicated that my vehicle appeared undamaged earlier in the morning, suggesting the accident occurred later in the day.We also asked our neighbors if their security cameras could have captured the incident. Unfortunately, most of the cameras in the area did not have a direct view of the street where my car was parked, and one neighbor, while within their rights, declined to allow us access to their footage.Given the lack of witnesses and available footage, we are filing this report in hopes of identifying the individual responsible for the hit-and-run.
