NARRATIVE
While grocery shopping at Fred Meyer 108th in Renton, someone hit the front of my van. I arrived at FM around 9:30 am on
Sunday, 11/10/2024. Parked in approximately the 4th row beside the cart return and facing north/northwest towards Wendy's
and 5 Hermanos restaurant. No other cars were parked directly next to me.
I went in to the store and did my grocery shopping after which I exited the store. I went back to my van and placed my
groceries in the back. Put the cart in the cart return. Got in my van. Drove the south end of the store and went in to buy a gift
card and two greeting cards which I realized I had forgotten while shopping for groceries.
Once purchased, I drove directly home. Arrived home and brought the groceries into the house. Upon going out again to put
items in the freezer in the garage, I noticed that my van was damaged. I went into the house and had my husband come out
look at it as well. I then took pictures which I have tried to upload but am having a difficult time.
