EF93551 CASE# 25-4103 OF DATE AND r�N + 05/09/25 17:13 O�COLLISION NARRATIVE CC On 05/09/2025 at about 1714 hours 1 was working uniform marked patrol as 1 R15 when I was dispatched to a two motor vehicle collision with injuries near the intersection of Rainier Ave S/S Grady Way within the city limits of Renton, King County, Washington. When I arrived I saw Unit 2 (2012 Honda CR-V with Washington state license plate AHC6402) pointed south while stopped on Rainier Ave S in the marked right turn lane just north of SW Grady Way. Unit 1 (2015 Subaru Legacy with Washington state license plate CNP3587) had already moved out of the roadway and parked in a nearby parking lot. Driver 1 (Kameron M. Belikov, DOB: 07/16/2008) and Driver 2 (Sonia M. Edmondson, DOB: 03/31/1972) were both on scene. Neither driver complained of injuries, but Chloe L. Kuster (seated rear passenger inside Unit 1) complained of pain to her head. Chloe said her head struck the center pillar (also known as the B pillar) inside Unit 1 when the collision occurred. Chloe said she only had a headache, and the Renton Fire Department arrived on scene to evaluate the drivers and passengers. No one involved was transported to the hospital. Driver 2 was not able to drive Unit 2 and requested a tow. Unit 1 was able to be driven from the scene. 1 spoke to both drivers who explained what occurred. Driver 2 informed me she was headed southbound on Rainier Ave S and was in the marked right turn lane as she approached SW Grady Way to turn right (west) onto SW Grady Way. Driver 2 said her vehicle was about 50 feet from SW Grady Way when Unit 1 merged into the marked right turn lane at what appeared to be a high rate of speed striking Unit 2. Driver 2 was not injured. Unit 2 had damage to the front driver side fender of the vehicle, and the damage prevented the front driver side door from completely opening. A tow truck came to assist with getting the vehicle off the roadway, and Driver 2 requested it be towed (private tow) as she was unable to get into the vehicle due to the damage to the front driver side door. I took photos of the vehicle using my department issued cellphone and uploaded those photos to Axon. Driver 1 had three passengers inside Unit 1 while driving southbound on Rainier Ave S. Drier 1 informed me that as he approached SW Grady Way, one of the passengers instructed him to turn right to take her to the nail salon. Driver 1 said he was in the southbound lane directly next to the marked right turn lane when he merged into the right turn lane. Driver 1 stated he merged into the lane "fast" when the collision occurred. Driver 1 was not injured, and Chloe L. Kuster was the only passenger who complained of pain after the collision. No one was transported to the hospital. Unit 1 had damage to the area of the rear passenger side door and fender, but it was able to be driven from the scene. I took photos of the vehicle using my department issued cellphone and uploaded those photos to Axon. After listening to the statements from both drivers and looking at the damage to both vehicles it appeared the actions of Driver 1 (Kameron M. Belikov, DOB: 07/16/2008) contributed to the circumstances of the collision after he attempted to merge into the marked right turn lane before ascertaining that it was safe to do so. Kameron M. Belikov was cited for improper lane change (RCW 46.61.140), and the infraction (5A0074167) was sent to the court to be mailed. PAGE 3 OF 4 REPORT NO.
