We usually take my car, but my husband got a new car, so we took his instead. When we returned in the evening, someone had hit my bumper, and my bumper was handing off. There was a bump on the side and also damage on the passenger side. We pay for three parking spots, and we have had to tow about four cars in the past two months because the same cars were trying to park in our spots. We left notes, but they did not listen. When we left, one of these cars was parked in our neighbor's spot, and when we came back, it was gone. There was no note on my car or in the surrounding area. Since this was in the parking lot I knocked on the door of all of the neighbors with windows/doors facing the parking lot and only about half were home and the ones that did answer said they did not see or hear anything. I asked a neighbor passing by and they let me know they saw some people around my car but that it was already hit and they did not see the actual accident.
