Case 25-4559
1 was working as a fully uniformed City of Renton Police Officer in a subdued marked City of
Renton, Police Car as unit#3R18. Working in the City of Renton, County of King, State of
Washington.
This report is a summary of events that occurred and is not an exact sequencing of events.
Statements have been paraphrased and summarized. At the time of this call my body worn
camera was activated.
On 5/24/2025 at 2300 hours, I was dispatched to 16713 128th Ave SE for a report of a hit and run
collision to the reporting party's parked and unattended Toyota Corolla. The suspect vehicle
was last seen driving southbound on 128th Ave SE.
I arrived and contacted the reporting party and victim Eric R Klevjer(DOB 09-30-1966), outside
on the sidewalk in front of his home. Eric stated that 5-10 minutes prior to calling 911 he heard
from inside his home the sound of a car crash and screeching of tires. Eric stated he went
outside and saw his silver, 2006,Toyota Corolla,WA plate ALU7927 had moved 10 feet up the
road,from where he parked it, and slightly into the road. Eric showed me the rear bumper to his
vehicle that was very damaged from the suspect vehicle colliding with it. I took photos of the
damage to the bumper and later uploaded them to evidence.com.
I observed long rubber skid mark next to Eric's car which would explain that tire screeching
noise that Eric had heard earlier. Eric advised that he had spoken to some of his neighbors who
stated that they had seen the suspect vehicle driving away on 128th Ave SE after the collision.
The suspect vehicle was described as a mid-sized SUV dark in color with the front end and
headlights completely smashed and destroyed. The neighbors stated that the vehicle was

driving at a high rate of speed and was swerving all over the road.
According to Eric, the neighbor was unable to get a license plate from the vehicle and could not
see who was driving. Eric stated that he knew of another neighbor further up the road that has a
ring camera that faces the road. Eric stated he would attempt to contact them in the morning to
see if the camera captured the vehicle or license plate.
Eric does not know how much it will cost to fix the damage to his rear bumper. I provided Eric
with a business card with a case number on it and advised him to call back if he was able to get
video footage.
There is not any suspect information at this time. Nothing further at this time.
