The following occurred in the City of Renton, King County, Washington unless otherwise stated.
During this incident 1 was equipped with body-worn camera which records both audio and video.
Portions of the incident were recorded. This report is merely a summary of the incident and is not
intended to be an exact transcription of the entire investigation or what may have been captured
with the recording system. During this incident I was wearing a department issued uniform or jump
suit and outer carrier vest which was marked with "Police"both on the front, back, and
department patches on each shoulder of the uniform or jumpsuit, as well as a Renton Police Velcro
badge on my►eft chest. It would be immediately obvious to any reasonable person that I was a
Police Officer.
On 5/30/2025 at 1035 hours I was dispatched to a hit and run report that occurred at the Landing
Parking Garage located at 810 N 10th PI.
I contacted the victim, identified as Manuel D. Sunday (DOB: 07/03/1961) by WA DL, and asked what
happened. Sunday stated that on 05/27/2025 at 1855 hours, he parked his 2013 Audi A6 (WA LP:
AMS6374) in the parking garage between the 1st and 2nd floors. Sunday stated that he returned to
his vehicle at around 2100 hours and saw that there was significant damage in the form of scrapes
and scuffs on the rear drivers side door and rear drivers side quarter panel of his vehicle.
Sunday did not have any information regarding the suspect vehicle or suspect in this case, and noted
that there were no security cameras that would have seen the incident.
Sunday stated that he did not wish to pursue charges and only wanted to report this incident for
insurance purposes.
