On 06/01/2025 at approximately 1054 hours, I was dispatched to a non-injury vehicle versus bicycle collision
at the intersection of North 3rd Street and Wells Avenue North, within the City Limits of Renton, County of
King, State of Washington.
While en route, Dispatch advised of a collision involving a vehicle versus bicyclist, no injuries reported,with
the involved vehicle not having insurance.
Upon arrival, I observed the bicyclist standing near his bicycle.The cyclist, a male later identified as FULLER,
confirmed he was not injured but wanted to report the collision due to damage to his bicycle and the involved
driver not having insurance.
The driver of Unit#1 was identified via DOL photo as DICKERSON.The driver of Unit#1 said that prior to the
collision, she was traveling eastbound in the 800 block of North 3rd Street and approaching the intersection of
Wells Avenue North.The driver of Unit#1 admitted to not seeing a bicyclist who was in the roadway as she
attempted to make a northbound turn onto Wells Avenue North.The driver of Unit#1 stated while turning,
her vehicle struck the bicyclist in the roadway.
The bicyclist(FULLER) stated he was riding his bicycle southbound on Wells Avenue North and was
approaching the intersection of North 3rd Street and on the west side of roadway. FULLER stated he travels on
that side to be able to identify vehicles as they approach him. FULLER stated that he proceeded to ride his
bicycle parallel to the roadway and while approaching North 3rd Street, FULLER observed Unit#1 begin to turn
in front of his bicycle. FULLER stated that while in the roadway, he was subsequently struck by Unit#1 causing
FULLER to be partially ejected from his bicycle.
I provided both parties a business card and case number. Unit#1 was able to be driven away from the scene
without further incident. FULLER was able to depart the scene with his bicycle.This report is for informational
purposes only.
