Narrative
On 05/31/2025 at about 1554 hours I was working uniform marked patrol as 1R23 when I came across a two
vehicle collision blocking the 1500 block of Bronson Way N within the city limits of Renton, King County,
Washington. None of the people involved in the collision were injured and both vehicles were driveable. I
directed both drivers to move their vehicles to the parking lot at the nearby 7-11 (404 Sunset Blvd N) where I
spoke to them about the collision.
Frances L.Johnson (Driver 2)was driving her vehicle (Unit 2-2017 Kia Sportage with Washington state license
plate BOJ4127) northbound on Bronson Way N and was in the second lane from the center line when the
collision occurred. The rear driver side fender of Unit 2 was struck by the front passenger side fender of Unit 1
(1993 Toyota T100 pickup truck with Washington state license plate C42177U) as Unit 1 attempted to change
lanes from the lane closest to the center line. Quoc K. Le was the driver of Unit 1 and Toan T. Nguyen was
seated in the front passenger seat of Unit 1. The drivers and passenger of both vehicles were not injured.
Unit 2 had minor damage (scratch and pain transfer from Unit 1) in the area of the vehicle's rear driver side
fender. Unit 1 had minor damage (scratch) in the area of the vehicle's front passenger fender.
No one involved in the collision was injured, and both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene. Frances
and Quoc agreed to exchange their information. Quoc's family members arrived on scene and agreed to
repair the minor damage done to Frances'vehicle.
I gave Frances and Quoc each a Renton PD business card with the case number.
