Unless otherwise noted,the following occurred in the City of Renton, County of King, WA.
On 06-05-2025 at approximately 1049 hours I was dispatched to NE 44th St and Lake Washington Blvd for a hit
and run collision. Dispatch advised: "SUSP VEH OCC'D X2 MM'S, NO CLOTHING DESC; RP IN KENWORTH
COMMERCIAL DUMP TRUCK, PULLED TO SHOULDER OF NE 44TH ST, FACING WEST,"
I arrived and contacted the reporting party/driver of unit 2,Jonathan L. Pruitt(04-25-1987).Jonathan relayed
that he was stationary on NE 44th St facing east in the left turn lane to turn onto northbound Lake Washington
Blvd. While stationary,Jonathan advised that unit 1 travelled eastbound into oncoming NE 44th St and
overtook unit 2.As unit 1 overtook unit 2,the passenger side of unit 1 sideswiped unit 2, causing damage to
the front driver side bumper, and the front driver side lug nut covers.Jonathan advised that unit 1 continued
eastbound on NE 44th St until they were out of view. Unit 1 did not make any effort to stop or exchange
information with Jonathan.Jonathan described unit 1 as a gray or green minivan, possibly a Mazda with a
possible partial plate of"CMU920".Jonathan said unit 1 was occupied by two males which he believed were
Hispanic of Middle Eastern.Jonathan believes the driver had a short beard, but was unable to provide a
further description.Jonathan does not know if he would be able to identify the occupants of unit 1 if he saw
them again.
I provided Jonathan with my contact information and the Renton Police case number.
I searched for a partial plate match on Flocksafety.com and was unable to locate anything consistent with unit
1.
